Here is a summary of last academic year’s assessments. We are very proud of all our children and how hard they worked and all they achieved. 

Reception (each child = 7.7%):
77% achieved a good level of development in the EYFS in 2016. (Compared to 69% nationally) 

Phonics screening (each child = %): 
94% of children achieved the expected standard. (Compared to 80% nationally) 
 
KS1 (Year 2 each child = 7%)
Reading: 
90% achieved the expected standard in reading (Compared to 74% nationally) 
25% were working at a greater depth 
Writing: 
80% achieved the expected standard in writing (Compared to 65% nationally) 
​10% were working at a greater depth 
Maths: 
85% achieved the expected standard in maths (Compared to 72.6% nationally) 
​20% were working at a greater depth

Reading: 
62% achieved the expected standard in reading 
24% were working at a higher standard (Compared with 19% nationally)
Average scaled score - 102 (Compared with 102.6 nationally) 
Average reading progress 0.1

70% achieved the expected standard in writing 
14% were working at a higher standard (Compared with 14% nationally)
Average writing progress -1.1
​Maths: 
67% achieved the expected standard in maths 
29% were working at  a higher standard (Compared with 17% nationally)
Average scaled score - 104 (Compared with 103 nationally) 
Average maths progress 1.2 
Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar:
​76% achieved the expected standard
33% were working at a higher standard (Compared with 22% nationally)
